Dear yachtsmen, coaches and umpires, WELCOME!

Everything is ready for your performance on the 9th edition of the Split Olympic Sailing Week 2013. We sincerely hope weather conditions will also be favourable.
According to the meteorologists, we should have no shortage of wing, however we will have some rain and chillier weather than usual. Just as long as we have enough and not too many „knots".
This regatta marks the official start of the Olympic class season where skills and form will be tested after the winter training season not only by domestic yachtsmen but by crews from all over Europe. Already in the pre-application stage we have registered yachtsmen from Italy, Estonia, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Austria, Hungary, Poland, Montenegro, Slovenia and Ireland.

Front of us is a four day competition on the regatta field located in the Split aquatorium in the following classes: Finn, laser standard, laser radial and 470-double handed. Unfortunately this year there will be no competitions in classes 49er and RS: X but the invitation for participation in the 10th SOSW regatta in 2014 has already been extended.

There will be more than plenty of exciting moments in the regatta field, this regatta will once again gather the Croatian national team, numerous experienced sea-wolves will also participate so don't be surprised by any unexpected events in the final ranking.

But before we mark the start of our first regatta, don't forget your APPLICATION!

On Wednesday ( March 13th) Regatta office is accepting applications from 12:00 until 18:00 hrs and until 11:00 hrs on Thursday. The start of the first regatta and the first event is planned for Thursday at 13:00 hrs.
Regatta committee, headed by Tonči Antunović, has prepared every detail for events at sea, and everything is just as ready and organised for parties on dry land. Each day, after the competitions, you will be greeted with a warm meal from the kitchen of JC Labud, prepared by Zoran Šimić and his team.

The medical team is also ready, just in case, as is the complete insurance of the regatta both at sea and on dry land! Entertainment on the plateau in front of our club offices is also planned every evening, all information will be posted in due time.
