Second day of competition, today on Friday began with ideal conditions. 15-20 knots of northerly wind, enables the sailors to show what they know. All classes are racing on course "A" while the course "B" was moved to North because of lack of wind, and competitors are waiting to start.

The first day of Open Croatian Championship for Olympic Class and Split Olympic Sailing Week is behind us. The laser is led by Ivan Taritaš, in 470, Sime Fantela and Igor Marenic, in the Finn Ivan Kljakovic Gaspic in the Laser Radial Tina Mihelic, in the Star Mate Arapov and Ante Šitić , while surfing took Luka Mratovic. The race runs through Sunday.

To wrap up the day – two races for Star, Finn, RS:x and 470 class, and one for Lasers and Radials. The fleet is on shore, enjoying the pasta. Start is tomorrow scheduled for 11.00. The forecast is famous Dalmatian bura, that means cold and unpredictable. Just what the sailors love!
