Participants of the 9th international regatta for Olympic classes Split Olympic Sailing Week which is organised by sailing club Labud from Split, were greeted by less than an ideal weather forecast.
Strong NE wind welcomed 70 yachtsmen from 11 countries competing in four classes; Finn, laser standard, laser radial and 470.

Competitors and judges are back. As soon as they returned to dry land, all competitors are greeted with a hot meal. Delicacies from the kitchen of JK Labud are the responsibility of a quintet with a very significant name – Apron (or Traverša in Croatian).

Everything is on scheduled, for now, race comittee is finishing preparing the course, competitors are sailing out. At the moment, there is no strong wind, it is cloudy, but the "bura", north wind "is in the air" and everybody is expecting a strong wind and excellent sailing conditiones.
