Due to improper sailing conditiones (no wind - 0 kts), final and official RC decision is: Racing is postponed.

It is not quite good day for competitors and organizers, on the 3rd day of Split olympic sailing week regatta. There is no wind at all, 0 kts. Only we can do now, is to wait for the official race comittee decision.

The second day of sailing on international regatta Split Olympic Sailing Week is complete. Race area was raised south of island Čiovo. In the Finn class today best sailed Pole Piotr Kula, while the best in Laser Standard was Tonči Stipanović from SC Mornar. Southwest wind Jugo with 12 knots at start of the 1st race keep falling and turning direction to the west. The race committee under such conditions, with plenty of effort, managed to lead one race for class Finn and Laser Standard. Laser Radial were very nervous and it was a lot of trial starts and disqualifications due to the premature start. Tomorrow consists of three races and start at 11 AM. According to the forecast expected Jugo.

Latest information from Race committee: Warning signal for tomorrow is scheduled for 11:00 AM. Laser radials will start first, and plan is to complete 3 races for each class.

As you can follow on our SOSW Facebook, wind was getting lower and lower, very unstable so RC decided to cancel second race for laser radial. Everybody is coming back in YC Labud, so final decision is no more racing today :( .
